Condenser Vacuum Pumps for Geothermal Steam Turbines

In geothermal power generation, high-temperature, high-pressure geothermal steam is used to rotate turbines and generators in order to generate electricity. Among the various forms of clean renewable energy that do not emit CO₂, geothermal power generation is attracting attention as a stable power source that is not affected by daily or seasonal changes. However, geothermal steam contains hydrogen sulfide and other non-condensable gases that need to be continuously bled from the condenser. Because these gasses are highly corrosive, the condenser vacuum pump must incorporate highly corrosion-resistant materials such as SCS16/SUS316L.
At Tsurumi, we design the entire condenser vacuum pump system, including the steam ejector. We have a wealth of experience in rehabilitating existing condenser vacuum pumps, and regardless of whether they are newly installed or rehabilitated, we can deliver condenser vacuum pumps offering high efficiency and low energy consumption.
